What is a Giclée and why is it valuable?

Giclée is a French term meaning to “spray or squirt.”
Giclée’s are museum and library quality art prints that will maintain their integrity for 150 years or more with appropriate framing.
These prints are done on an Epson 7000/9000, delivering up to 1200DPI.
The ink is pigment dyed vs. dye-based ink. Epson Ultra Chrome HDX delivers high black density, beautiful tonal transitions and wide color gamut.
Paper is textured Epson cold pressed , bright white. Acid and lignin-free (non-yellowing) Textured matte finish/100% cotton fiber, 305 GSM per 19 ml.
ALL PRINTS ARE INSPECTED, approved and signed by me before mailing.
I work with an Artisan Art Printer nearby, who is lauded for high quality workmanship, equipment, and materials for discerning customers.
